The growth of computer technology and its penetration in our everyday activities coupled by the intensified use of the Internet, offers significant benefits to the user, but also creates serious risks and problems.
 
Telecommunications fraud has become and increasing source of financial losses, although not only that, for enterprises, organisations and governments. Personal data is continuously being exposed with serious consequences, legal and economic.
The aim of this Conference is to inform the participants and to analyse the following complex issues and their repercussions: 
 
Attacks via the internet
The costs inferred and the problems created by the modern plague of telecommunications fraud
The risks connected to malicious use of computers inside company or organisation networks
The legal and economic implications related to the above issues
The methods, the ways and the tools that can be utilized to confront security threats
