INA, following the successful organisation of this Conference on electronic security since 2005, is pleased to announce the upcoming 5th Regional Electronic Security Forum: Telecommunications Networks and Systems Security, which will be held in 2010 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Conference Objectives
As our information systems grow more complex and we rely more on the electronic storage and transfer of information, the risk of damage, loss, and fraud increases dramatically. The need for information security in today's highly networked environment is becoming increasingly recognised. Information is arguably among a government’s/ enterprise's most valuable assets, so its protection from internal or external predators has become an IT priority. INA has long recognized the importance of information security and brings together every year senior IT security experts from both private and public sector to network and exchange views and experiences related to information security and risk management.
This year, focusing on the transformation of information security into information risk management, the 5th Regional electronic Security Forum invites senior executives, information security managers, government officials responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and improvement of information security in public sector IT systems and services to discuss:
